While earning my masters degree, I worked as a graduate assistant for the Operations Management and Informations Systems (OM&IS) department at Northern Illinois University. I replaced the old department email newsletter with this static news-style website. I was sent countless emails detailing internship/job opportunities, campus job fairs, and other various OMIS related events, and posted them as articles.

Eventually, I had a small team of undergrad volunteer developers, and was able to take on a scrum master role. Our weekly sprints were a great way to try out an agile methodology outside of the classroom.
I put my heart into this project. In April of 2020, I forked the OM&IS Gazette so I always had a copy. As I was graduating, plans were made for a new graduate student ot learn the process and keep my site running. Due to COVID and cutbacks, no graduate student was assigned to the project. Here is the website as it was in April of 2020, a spooky reminder of my life at that time!
