Quilt #2
My next quilt was another 9 patch quilt, this time for my mom. This quilt was a bit larger than throw size, and I ordered this purple and blue batik fabric from somewhere I do not remember. But since I had purchased a charm pack, I did not have to iron and cut for hours! This was a very easy quilt to construct since the pieces were cut so perfectly.
I had this quilt long armed by Buffalo Flatts Quilt Co. I chose a pattern from the "penny pantogram" promotion, and got to pick out things like thread color, stiffness, and batting. I did my own white binding on this quilt as well. My mom loved the colors, but she's afraid to ruin the quilt by using it.
